2. What data do we process?
This website has no contact form or booking module. We only process data you actively share:
- E-mail or phone: if you contact us via info@veersewende.com or by phone, we keep your message and contact details to answer your question.
- Booking details: actual reservations are handled by our rental partner Ruiterplaat Vakanties (BookingExperts). We only receive your name, number of guests and stay dates so we can welcome you.
3. Cookies and third parties
This site sets no tracking or marketing cookies. We do rely on a few technically necessary third-party services:
- Netlify (hosting) — serves this website and may keep limited log files for stability and security.
- Google Fonts — loads the typefaces we use. Your IP address is shared with Google as part of this request.
- Google Maps (on the contact page) — shows a map of our location. Google sets its own cookies as soon as the map loads.
- BookingExperts / Ruiterplaat Vakanties — the booking button links to their platform, where their own terms apply.

4. Retention period
We keep e-mail correspondence for a maximum of 2 years after your last contact, unless a longer retention is legally required. Booking data is retained as long as required for tax administration (7 years under Dutch tax law).
5. Sharing with third parties
We do not sell or rent your data. We share information only when strictly necessary for your booking or stay (for example with Ruiterplaat Vakanties or a cleaning service) or when required by law.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data. You may also object to processing or withdraw your consent. Send us an e-mail at info@veersewende.com and we will arrange it as soon as possible.
7. Filing a complaint
If you feel we are not handling your data correctly, please let us know first — we are happy to resolve it. If we cannot reach an agreement, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

We may update this statement from time to time. The latest version is always on this page; the date at the top indicates when it was last changed.
